I don't normally don't leave reviews, but I had such sticker shock, that I had to. Everyone I spoke to was very profession and friendly. So the staff gets 5 starts. When I made the appointment to fix my hot water heater, they told me that there was a $80.00 fee to come out and diagnos the problem, but, that the $80.00 would go toward my bill if they are the ones I hire to fix it. My biggest complaint is that they did not warn me about HOW HIGH THEIR PRICES ARE. So, the very polite young man looks at the problem and states its probably the Thermacouple? safety switch. He stated no big deal will only take about 20 min to fix. I asked if the warranty covered the cost, He said It could cover the parts but not labor. I said ok... what will the labor be? He looked at his phone for a minute and then states $680.00... I about fell on the floor. I asked if he was kidding, and he relied no thats what it is. I said, you just told me that you could have this done in 30 minutes. So, I asked what is your hourly rate $1200.00/hour ? He replied No, that we charge a flat rate depending on the issue. I asked, well could I throw in a sink repair in that? He looked at my sink and said to replace your faucet would be $590.00. I asked does that include the faucet? He replied NO. So just to break it down... which he gave me a little discount when I pitched a fit,,, The faucet was $590.00 for a 30 min job. The switch on the Hot water was $494.00 for a 30 min fix. This totals $1084 for the hour. That is just wrong!!! Copperhead got my $80.00 and I called affordable Gas, a licensed professional, and he charged me $180.00 which included the part. And YES it only took him 20 minutes to fix it. I included the quotes just so you don't think I am making this up.

This rate reflects not just the time on site, but also the technician’s expertise, licensing, insurance, warranty-backed work, and the cost of running a fully staffed, responsive service company. We’d also like to clarify that Affordable Gas the company who ultimately completed your repair was the original company to install you water heater and your water heater still had a factory warranty. Affordable Gas was not available at the time you initially needed service—which is why you reached out to us. Warranty providers often have different pricing structures due to pre-existing agreements, which can make direct comparisons challenging. We’re sorry we weren’t the right fit for your needs this time, but we do appreciate the opportunity to provide a quote and your kind words about our staff. I had an excellent experience with Raphael Morganelli from Copperhead Plumbing. From start to finish, his service was outstanding. He arrived right on time, was extremely professional, and took the time to thoroughly assess everything before getting started. He successfully unclogged my shower and also checked my water heater to make sure everything was functioning properly. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and detail-oriented he was. he didn’t just fix the issue, he made sure everything was running smoothly and explained what he was doing along the way. It’s rare to find someone who is not only skilled but also reliable and respectful of your home. Justin and his partner were very thorough about what was the problem with my water heater, they explain the pros and cons of fixing vs replacing, financing and time length of the job. I also want mention that Justin was very polite and respectful of my property and stayed until everything was done to my satisfaction. Time will tell about the quality of the job, but so far everything seems to be working properly.

We cannot say enough great things about Dakota and the entire team at Copperhead Plumbing. We live in a new construction home with a Smith water heater that was under a 6-year warranty, but unfortunately after just one year our builder stopped covering service. Then, only two years in, our water heater began leaking badly and we needed help fast. Another plumbing company we contacted wasn’t able to assist, but they highly recommended Copperhead—and we’re so grateful they did. From the very beginning, Copperhead was responsive and professional. Dakota arrived exactly on time, was incredibly knowledgeable, and immediately put us at ease during a stressful situation. Raphael texted me five minutes after my call. Ten minutes later he was at my home. Within a couple of minutes he had diagnosed the problem and given me the quote. I got a call from a realtor who was showing the condo directly underneath me that there was water leaking down into their kitchen and I panicked and rushed home and on the way I requested an evaluation of my hot water heater from Copperhead plumbing and it was definitely an emergency situation. James showed up at my door so fast and actually surprised me. He then got right to work and diagnosed the problem and then was joined by his coworker Daniel and they were prompt and courteous and removed on replaced my hot water heater in record time The neighbor who owns the condo below me, but was not living in at the time called me and when I told her it was already fixed she couldn't believe how fast I got my hot water heater replaced and my water was turned back on And what was panic was turned to relief these guys are great recommend things everyone

Copperhead came recommended and did not disappoint. The team called in the morning to confirm an eta and james was super friendly and a pleasure to work with. Everything was smooth, we had them flush out our water heater and looked at some issues we were having. Highly recommend.

I was shopping around for quotes on a tankless water heater installation through Angie, and requested quotes from Copperhead Plumbing in addition to 2 other companies. James Ely from Copperhead contacted me and we made an appointment. Prior to his arrival, another company came and gave me an estimate that came with a “decide within 24 hours for this price” caveat. James arrived right on time yesterday morning, and talked with me in depth about what I need. I got quite an education! I decided to go with Copperhead, and my new water heater was installed same day. James was polite, tidy, knowledgeable, and friendly. He did a wonderful job and cleaned up afterwards. I will definitely be using Copperhead for all of my future plumbing projects!
